Creches Receive 2007 American College of Nurse Midwives Foundation Community Grant Award
Today (Christmas Eve) I received a wonderful Christmas gift. It came in the form of a letter notifying me that we had been chosen to receive the above grant of $500. to purchase teaching materials, supplies and equipment for the educational sessions we will be holding in 2008 in the communities served by the creches. In previous meetings village residents have shared with us topics of concern like women's health issues which we will be addressing as well as family planning and HIV. We will continue to reinforce hand-washing, tooth care and cough etiquette which we have previously covered with the children and parents in lively, interactive meetings. Thank you A.C.N.M. Foundation!!

How are you? We are fine. We have another friend in India now too. I am not sure if he is close to you or not, but he is in New Delhi. He has a myspace.com account. His name is Myles Hutchinson. He is a wonderful young man with a heart for the Lord. He just sold his things and packed up and left.
